Ananda Ashram My beloved Brahmamayee, Extremely glad to have received your sweet note dt 1.5.75. Well, you should not worry at all for your inability to correspond letters with me. I do feel that it is not always possible on your part to write to me as you are ever deeply engaged with Him and absorbed in His thoughts. Try to write to me only when your time permits. Recently Premananda had arranged for my tour to America. But unfortunately enough, it has been cancelled. And I am equally sorry along with Premananda and you for cancellation of my tour. It is His wish. Nellie, I may not visit America bodily, but I can always see with my divine eye that you are all sitting at the great feet of Anand Mayee. I am exceedingly glad to know that your brother, Edward has comde round earlier from heart attack after surgical operation. May he recover from all sorts of ailments with the blessings of Ananda Mayee. Have my blessings as well as the blessings of Anandamayee on the auspicious day of "Guru Purnima". Guru is the Lord and Guru is God. Again, He is the Christ, He is Ram, He is Krishna, and what not? He is everything, to be sure. Yours, reverend, "Babaji"
